SX700 is also fine. But it's compact model and can't be compared with SX510. But if we still compare, it has additional 4 mega pixel. As you might be knowing the additional mega pixels help only in enlarged pictures.

So, yeah if you want a compact model and can spend additional bucks you may go with SX700.

As I said earlier, SX510 has WiFi and SX520 doesn't. SX520 has more zoom and mega pixel than SX510. It's a trade off. Please choose according to your requirement!!
