Let's discuss and update about upcoming 4K mobile phones in this thread.

When will the first 4K mobile release? I think it will come soon because of 5G rollout and we will be able to stream in 4K on our mobile phones.

I have found a phone in my local store which claims to be 4K UHD. But its display resolution is only 1644 x 3840 pixels. True 4K display resolution is 3840 × 2160.

Short side has to be 2160 px for True 4K whatever the aspect ratio.

Camera is 2160p.

Phone makers should also specify streaming resolution in specs.

LG used to offer UHD displays 2K on V30 and V40. The PPI used to be over 550 which was crisp. None of the other manufactures currently offer that kinda Resolution not even S23 ultra I think.
Manufacturers I believe are loosely terming 4K and 2K as 4K.

My current phone cannot stream Prime Video in 4K even when on Wi-Fi.

To stream 4k there should be 3840 x 2160 screen resolution Display...
AFAIK presently there is no phone yet launched which have 3840 x 2160 resolution...

Doesn't say anything about resolution required.
