Got a BSNL SIM today but it is only latching onto H+ network i.e 3G though I have a BSNL tower on the rooftop of a BSNL telephone exchange beside my house. Act Volte to 53733 SMS is also not going through. Previously I got 12345 4G signal at this very place when manually searching network. So I know that we have BSNL 4G coverage here. What to do? Can anyone suggest?
Use netmonster

Manually select Lte only. Then bsnl 4g working. Volte activate automatic as per bsnl employee.

Today I got BSNL 4G signal near Dumurjala indoor stadium on Kona expressway Howrah. It’s very weak so much so that speedtest could not be conducted. Got strong BSNL 4G signal at Esplanade, conducted speedtest but speed is not impressive…it’s at par with its 3G speed i.e. 3-5mbps max.

I got steady 3G signal today from Park street metro to Girish park metro station underground. Speeds are standard 3-5mbps but a lot of call drops happening underground.

Conclusion: BSNL 4G needs to go a long way because only 5mhz in 2100 band is not enough to give satisfactory 4G experience in this day & age.

P.S: I still couldn’t get 4G signal at my place despite having a BSNL tower on the rooftop of our telephone exchange beside. 3G speed is good i.e. 5-7mbps as the tower is next door literally.

I am getting BSNL 4G only at the district capital cities (Salem, Coimbatore, Erode, Thiruchi, Dharmapuri etc) in Tamilnadu.

Thanks for your detail Review.

Another problem that I'm facing when using BSNL 3G data network is at times the data won't work and then you have to switch on & off the airplane mode in the phone to make it work again. Don't know why.

I have seen this so called mysterious telecom network '12345' on some YouTube videos many months ago. I think it's used for testing purposes by some operator.
I have seen 3 mysterious networks
404 65
404 694 (3G) (however this connected
and used data automatically in mtnl sim)
12345 4g
