The students appearing for their Class X English state board exam in West Bengal on Tuesday were in for a pleasant surprise when they found an essay question on Indian cricket team captain Kohli, the Hindustan Times reported. According to the report, the students were delighted to answer the question on the cricketer who has become a “national icon”.

The Odisha cabinet on Wednesday decided to make Odia language mandatory on signboards of all shops and commercial establishments. To bring this into effect, the Odisha Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1956 would be amended in the budget session of the assembly beginning March 20.

The move is expected to get a push ahead of Utkala Dibasa, the foundation day of the state, on April 1, according to a government officer associated with the plan.

Anyway, the Galaxy A6 is powered by a Exynos 7870 chipset previously seen in the A3 (2017) and several J-series phones. The chip has eight Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-T830 MP1 GPU.

Just like the recent Galaxy J8 leak, the Galaxy A6+ model uses a Snapdragon 625 instead (same CPU, Adreno 506 GPU). The Plus model has more RAM too – 4GB instead of 3GB. Both models run Android 8.0 Oreo (hurrah for Trebble).

Breaking Star India renews BWF media rights till 2021

MUMBAI: Star Sports has renewed its Badminton World Federation (BWF) media rights for a four-year cycle. The deal is from 2018 to 2021 as per BWF calendar.

Star India-owned BWF’s official media rights for India for the previous four-year term (2014-2017) which expired in December 2017. Since there was a delay in extending the association between Star and BWF, fans ended up missing several events including the Indonesia Masters in January where Saina Nehwal had reached the final, before going down to her nemesis Tai Tzu Ying for her seventh successive loss to the top rank holder.

Dus Ka Dum’ is coming back after a hiatus of nine years, SET is planning to make the show more interactive. The channel will launch a special app for ‘Dus Ka Dum’ which will go live on 18 March during the world television premiere of Salman Khan’s 2017 blockbuster ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ on Sony Max.
