Airtel adds 4.1 mn subscribers in February 2018: COAI

Airtel continues to be the top performing network operator in India with 295.75 million subscribers and a market share of 29.5 per cent. The telecom company managed to add 4.1 million new subscribers last month. In its monthly report for February, COAI said the total number of subscribers in India was 999.33 million. These numbers represent an overall growth of 10.8 million subscribers from the January 2018.

It is followed by Vodafone that has 217.06 million mobile users, while Idea with 160.09 million mobile users, which translates to a market share of 16.20 per cent.

Kochi ODI angers Football fans across India

Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, home to the Kerala Blasters FC, will be dug up to create a cricket pitch, angering players and fans alike.

The Indian team will be hosting West Indies later this year across all the formats. While one of the games in the five-match ODI series has been allotted to Kerala, the move by Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) to try and host the game at Jawaharlal Nehru International (JNI) stadium in Kochi, overlooking Thiruvananthapuram has received much flak.

The JNI Stadium has been the home ground of Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League for the last four seasons and was one of the major venues during the 2017 U-17 World Cup & is One of the Six FIFA recognized stadiums in India.

#SaveKochiTurf, a hashtag used by the stars, has sparked off a debate over the issue on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Australian man claims he's found missing flight MH370 on Google Earth

In a shocking new claim, an Australian mechanical engineer has claimed he has found the debris of the doomed Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 using Google Earth.
The Daily Star reported that the mechanic Peter McMohan, who has a background in crash investigations, said he used Google Earth to locate the wreckage of the flight which has been missing since 2014.

The 2018 Hero Passion Pro is priced at ₹ 53,189, while the 2018 Hero Passion XPro is priced at ₹ 54,189 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Both 110 cc bikes continue to remain commuter offerings but get substantial upgrades for the new year including a power bump, new features and tweaked styling for a fresh appearance.

For the 2018 model year, the Hero Passion Pro and Passion XPro sport revised styling with new colour schemes and graphics. The bike is available in five bold metallic shades including Sports red, Black monotone, Force silver metallic, Heavy grey and Frost blue. In contrast, the Passion XPro is inclined with a slightly younger theme and sporty appeal and sports a sharper looking fuel tank with flush fuel lid, dynamic shrouds, sporty real cowl, duel-tone mirrors, LED tail lamp and more. Both bikes get a digital-analogue instrument console with a digital fuel gauge and side-stand indicator, odometer, speedometer and more. The bikes also get Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function to meet the new regulations.

Honda CBR 250R motorcycle re-launched in India

Honda CBR 250R motorcycle re-launched in India.

The new CBR250R is BS4-compliant and is available in two variants - ABS and non-ABS.

The non-ABS (STD) variant is priced at Rs. 1.64 lakh while the ABS variant costs Rs. 1.93 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

The 2018 CBR250R comes with new graphics, new paint schemes, and an LED headlamp.

The motorcycle is available with four paint schemes presently – Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Mars Orange, Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Striking Green, Pearl Sports Yellow, and Sports Red.
