DTH has its own advantage over fibre. channel changing convenience, no downtime,easy to navigate programme etc.
In the era of ott and our busy life, it is too difficult to find the right programme and watch in ott. Even some important events are missed without our knowledge. It is costly to subscribe so many OTTs over dth.

8482+ gst (1500 approx)= 10000 minimum. We can pay 2500 for dth and get wifi at 5000 per year we can save 2500. Who needs useless ott and doom scrolling. Difficulty in switching channels and custom advertisement of only movies. They cannot lower the price so fancying with ott's

Just a minor correction: Not every Axis credit card gives 25% discount on Airtel payments. It's only the Airtel Axis co-branded credit card that gives the cashback. This card has very less approval rates these days due to high number of applications and are only given to select customers now. I have even shared my on-boarding (approval) experience for this card here: Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card

It has other benefits too such as 10% cashback on electricity, water, LPG gas etc. bill payments.

I have been using this credit card from last year and it's totally worth the hype. I don't recharge Airtel wifi since I have no connection yet and getting good amount of cashbacks with rest of the eligible payments. With an Airtel wifi connection, the cashback will be further increased/doubled. 🥰

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMP) drive to clear illegally installed Optical Fiber Cables (OFC) across the city has drawn flak from cable operators, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. They alleged that the BBMP officials are charging ahead with removal of the overhead cables without bothering to check whether they have provided operators with any alternative arrangements or not.

The cable operators alleged that lack of transparency and commitment among the BBMP officials is the main reason for the overhead cables problem in the city. They also blame the so-called local leaders and politicians for the problems.

This Rs.350 is a part of Rs.699/- Airtel black DTH+ WIFI pack, effectively reducing bill if clubbed together.

Also just explored that Axis Credit card gives 25% discount upto Rs. 250, which will further reduce the monthly bill.

Monthly bill: Rs. 824.82 (699 + 18% gst)
After 25% card discount: Rs. 618.61 (Rs. 824.82 - 25%)

Annual charges: Rs. 500/-
If you use this card just for above payment, every month you will save 206.205×12 = Rs. 2474.46
Effectively Rs. 1974.46 ( excluding annual charges) for an year or Rs. 164 per month.
