Yes. Airtel Broadband was not even present on all Indian states, leave smaller or medium cities apart until a few years back. Now they are giving tough competition to Jio when Jio gave up on their Fiber expansion and shifted focus towards AirFiber. One thing to notice that airtel is a very old player compare to jio but still airtel doesn't persist in all areas when jio is available in majority areas
Let's see bro. Maybe both of us will get it around the same time.I expect you to get the connection before me![]()
Something about this:I noticed something interesting: the newly installed FAT boxes are smaller in size than the previous Airtel FAT boxes I've seen in other places, like on YouTube. It seems Airtel may have recently changed the box design to a more compact size.
They have stopped doing work in my locality after cabling was done. Now covering other nearby areas and even in some areas they have installed new FAT boxes.@Bapun bro, whats the update on your end ? You had said that Airtel has entered your locality as well ???
Yes, it should be free of cost. Because you have the setup already. But depends on the vendor (LCO) too. If he wants/demands money then no other way than paying some kharcha paani. Will there be any reactivation charges ??? I feel no installation charges will be taken if there is alreay an installed setup.
I expect you can get fiber with iptv soon as iptv commercial launch might happen before this month end.Update:
Finally after much wait, itseems fiber deployment is almost close to my area.
Lets hope to get a new Airtel OFC connection very soon
Yes, you can reapply for a new connection after disconnection. Is it possible say to opt for a new FTTH connection if a consumer already has an old disconnected FTTH setup ?
Meaning BSNL just has to issue a new account no/landline no to an existing setup from their end and activate it.
For the launch of their very first Android OS-based STB - the Airtel Internet TV which was launched before Xstream DTH came to market, Airtel had organized a launch event with press interaction. Such events give better insights about the product but these days media interaction by telcos and DTH operators is rarely seen. The gap leaves the end users confused.Airtel could have planned the launch better, in my opinion.![]()
Airtel has shared a list of FAQs (frequently asked questions). However, the monthly charges for additional IPTV connections remain undisclosed so far.How much would be the monthly fees after adding another STB ???
