Reliance Jio is going to introduce BHIM UPI in its MyJio app shortly, according to a message sent by Jio to its JioMoney customers. The message accessed by OnlyTech states that MyJio users can access most of the UPI services while staying at home from the MyJio app itself.
As of now, the UPI service is yet to go live on the MyJio app. Reliance currently offers multiple mini-apps inside the MyJio app. The access to BHIM UPI from the MyJio app will help Jio users transact easily via the most popular payments interface in the country.
JioPay, JioCare, JioSaavn, JioCinema, JioEngage, JioCloud are the few mini-apps that currently available inside the MyJio app. JioAutoPay, JioInteract, JioSaarthi, and HelloJio are also present in the app. Jio users can manage their accounts, watch movies, play the latest songs, back up data, play games, and do much more from a single app reducing the hassle of installing multiple apps.
Shortly, they will be able to transfer money too via the Unified Payments Interface, anywhere from any bank account, and also make instant Jio recharges from within the app. While the message said ‘To begin, tap here’ the same is yet to go live. BHIM UPI should be introduced in the MyJio app shortly.
