Bharti Airtel is gearing up for the launch of its home broadband services Airtel Xstream Fiber in three new cities by the end of April 2020 as it looks to expand the reach of its broadband services. The telecom service provider is also aggressively marketing its broadband service with attractive offers for its customers.
Airtel will be launching its home broadband services in Katra and Sikar in 5 days. The launch in both these cities is scheduled for March 1. Xstream Fiber will be launched in Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla in 37 days. The launch in Shimla is scheduled for April 1
The plans in these three cities will, however, be different from the plans Airtel offers in other cities. While all 4 Xstream Fiber plans namely Basic, Entertainment, Premium, and VIP will be available for subscription, the packaging, and pricing of the plans are different.

Airtel Xstream Fiber Basic plan will be available at Rs 599 monthly charge and will offer 100 GB data with up to 16 Mbps speed. The plan also comes with unlimited local/STD calls and includes the Airtel Xstream app as Airtel Thanks benefit. In other cities, the Basic plan currently costs Rs 799 and offers 150 GB data with up to 100 Mbps speed.
Airtel Xstream Fiber Entertainment plan will be available at Rs 799 monthly charge and will offer unlimited internet with up to 40 Mbps speed. The plan also comes with unlimited local/STD calls and includes the Airtel Xstream app as Airtel Thanks benefit. In other cities, the Entertainment plan currently costs Rs 999 and offers 300 GB data with up to 200 Mbps speed.
Airtel Xstream Fiber Premium plan will be available at Rs 1099 monthly charge and will offer unlimited internet with up to 100 Mbps speed. The plan also comes with unlimited local/STD calls and includes Amazon Prime, Zee5 Premium and Airtel Xstream app as Airtel Thanks benefit. In other cities, the Premium plan currently costs Rs 1499 and offers 500 GB data with up to 300 Mbps speed.
Airtel Xstream Fiber VIP plan will be available at Rs 1599 monthly charge and will offer 600 GB data with up to 300 Mbps speed. The plan also comes with unlimited local/STD calls and includes Amazon Prime, Zee5 Premium and Airtel Xstream app as Airtel Thanks benefit. In other cities, the VIP plan currently costs Rs 3999 and offers unlimited data with up to 1 Gbps speed.
According to the listing on the Airtel website, the plans might change at the time of the launch. Airtel currently offers these plans in Alwar, Bareilly, Dehradun, Jammu, Nashik, Prayagraj, Rajahmundry, and Sonipat. Unlimited data add on at Rs 299 per month won’t be available in these cities.
Airtel is also aggressively marketing its broadband service in other cities to increase its market share. Customers buying new broadband connections in Chennai till 25th February can avail 500 GB extra every month. Airtel has also revamped its Xstream Fiber plans in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vijaywada, and Vishakapatnam to offer unlimited internet in all of its plans at the same speed and same price.
