Airtel Thanks

Airtel is testing a new Explore section on the Airtel Thanks app. The new Explore section is set to replace the existing Play section on the app. The Explore section is available on the latest Beta version of the Airtel Thanks app.

The new Explore section includes news powered by Editorji, and selected songs powered by Wynk music. It also shows offers and includes quick action links such as recharge, pay bills, help & support, coupons, and more. Airtel Xstream content is not present in the new Explore section, and the search option is also removed. Once the Explore section replaces the Play section, users will not be able to view Airtel Xstream content or Live TV channels.

The existing Play section has three categories- trending, Airtel Xstream, and Wynk Music. The Trending sections display the trending content from both Airtel Xstream and Wynk music sections. The Airtel Xstream section offers Live TV channels, premium movies, and TV shows. The Wynk Music section is the basic version of the Wynk Music app available inside the Airtel Thanks app. It does not allow users to set Hello Tunes or download songs.

Users are required to enable the beta version of the Airtel Thanks app to get the Explore section. To get the Beta version, open Airtel Thanks app and tap on More. Open the Settings, tap on App Personalization, and turn on Airtel Thank App (Beta). The Beta app will replace the Play section on the app with the new Explore section.
