Reliance Jio unveils new International Roaming and In-Flight packs

Telecom operator Reliance Jio on Thursday announced the launch of a suite of new international roaming plans and in-flight packs as cost-effective solutions for subscribers seeking seamless connectivity both internationally and during air travel ensuring that its users stay connected wherever they go. The telecom giant has designed these plans to cater to the varying needs of its diverse user base.

International Roaming Plans for UAE

For those travelling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Reliance Jio has introduced three distinct plans. The top-tier offering, priced at Rs 2,998, provides 250 outgoing minutes, 250 incoming minutes, 7GB of data, and 100 SMS with a validity of 21 days. The Rs 1,598 plan includes 150 outgoing and incoming minutes, 3GB of data, and 100 SMS, valid for 14 days. The budget-friendly Rs 898 plan covers 1GB of data, 100 incoming and outgoing minutes, and 100 SMS, offering a 7-day validity.

International Roaming Plans for the US

Similar to the UAE, Reliance Jio has tailored three plans for travellers heading to the United States. The Rs 3,455 plan boasts 250 calling minutes, 25GB of data, and 100 SMS with a 30-day validity. The Rs 2,555 plan provides 250 calling minutes, 15GB of data, and 100 SMS, valid for 21 days. Lastly, the Rs 1,555 plan, designed for shorter stays, offers 7GB of data, 150 calling minutes, and 100 SMS, with a validity of 10 days.

Annual Roaming Pack

In addition to the region-specific international roaming plans, Reliance Jio has introduced an annual pack priced at Rs 2,799. This comprehensive plan covers 51 countries, offering 2GB of data with a longer validity of 365 days.

In-Flight Data Packs

Recognizing the growing importance of in-flight connectivity, Reliance Jio has introduced three in-flight data packs catering to different data needs. The Rs 195 plan provides 250MB of data, 100 voice minutes, and 100 SMS, valid for 1 day. The Rs 295 plan offers 500MB of data, 100 voice minutes, and 100 SMS, while the Rs 595 plan includes 1GB of data, 100 voice minutes, and 100 SMS, both valid for 1 day.

In-Flight Voice and Data Packs for Different Countries

Expanding its global connectivity offerings, Reliance Jio has unveiled four in-flight plans applicable to 22 airlines and spanning 51 countries. The Rs 2,499 plan provides 100 outgoing minutes, 250MB of data, and a 10-day validity, covering 35 countries. The Rs 4,999 plan, with a validity of 30 days, offers 1500 minutes, 5GB of data, and 1500 SMS. The Rs 3,999 plan includes 4GB of data, 100 SMS, and a 30-day validity while the Rs 5,999 plan, also valid for 30 days, provides 400 calling minutes, 6GB of data, and 500 SMS.
