Reliance Jio, a leading telecom service provider, has rebranded its broadband services under the unified name JioHome. This integration brings JioFiber and Jio AirFiber together under a single brand, making it easier for customers to explore and choose the service that best suits their needs. Under JioHome branding, the plans and services remain unchanged, and users will continue to receive high-speed internet, OTT subscriptions, and digital TV services.
Additionally, Reliance Jio is offering a complimentary 50-day JioFiber or Jio AirFiber connection to customers who opt for applicable Jio Mobility recharges during the promotional period. Jio prepaid users can avail of this offer by recharging with Rs. 299 or higher plans that provide at least 1.5 GB/day of data or by purchasing a Rs.100 data add-on. Similarly, Jio postpaid users with an active monthly rental plan of Rs. 299 or above or those who opt for the Rs. 100 data add-ons are eligible for the offer. This limited-time promotion is available until April 30, 2025, and connections will be activated on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible users residing in feasible buildings.
Interested customers can visit the JioHome website, visit their nearest Jio Store, or give a missed call to 60008-60008 to book a new connection. Customers opting for Jio AirFiber will receive an outdoor unit, a Wi-Fi router, a 4K Smart set-top box, and a voice-activated remote at no additional cost. Customers choosing the JioFiber connection will get a Wi-Fi router, a 4K Smart set-top box, and a voice-activated remote at no extra cost.
Reliance JioFiber is a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service that uses fiber-optic technology to deliver high-speed internet connectivity. In contrast, Jio AirFiber is a fixed wireless access (FWA) solution that utilizes Jio True 5G technology to provide broadband-like high-speed internet connectivity. Jio AirFiber is ideal for areas where traditional fiber connectivity is not feasible. However, if both JioFiber and Jio AirFiber are available, users should always choose the JioFiber connection, as it offers superior internet speed and reliability compared to Jio AirFiber.
