India’s leading telecom service provider Reliance Jio yesterday in an Investor Presentation said that it was now the leader in 19 out of 22 telecom circles based on AGR rankings. The data sourced from TRAI shows that Reliance Jio has an overall 45% revenue share as of December 2020 in the telecom industry remaining unchanged from September 2020.
Reliance Jio however has stolen the leadership in Jammu & Kashmir during September-December 2020 period to become the leader in 19 out of 22 circles. As of September 2020, Reliance Jio was leading in 18 out of 22 circles while being a close second in Jammu & Kashmir and Tamil Nadu.
Reliance Jio now leads in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (West), Uttar Pradesh (East), Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, North East, Kolkata, West Bengal, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam.
The company is second in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu circle.
Reliance Jio carries one of the world’s largest data traffic with over 5.0 Exabytes per month while offering sustained performance on the back of widest reach with LTE network and differentiated sales and distribution approach.
