Reliance Jio today announced the company in Q4 FY 21 added a gross addition of over 31 million to its customer base. The company exited FY 21 with a customer base of 426 million. The total customer base as of 31st March 2021 stood at 426.2 million.
Jio Platforms Limited reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 18,278 crore with consolidated net profit of Rs 3,508 crore, seeing an increase of 47.5% YoY. Jio’s ARPU during the quarter stood at Rs 138.2 per subscriber per month. The total data traffic during the quarter stood at 1,668 crore GB seeing 26.7% YoY growth while the total voice traffic during the quarter stood at 103,290 crore minutes seeing 17.9% YoY growth.

Commenting on the results, Shri Mukesh D. The company saw a strong customer gross addition at 31.2 million with net addition of 15.4 million in the quarter with improved traction across mobility and homes. Jio had a gross subscriber addition of 99.3 million during FY 21 despite COVID related challenges.
“Churn reduced during the quarter to 1.26% on the back of focused sales initiatives and reducing Covid impact in parts of the country during the quarter. Based on TRAI Financial Data for the quarter ended December 2020, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) had Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) market share of ~45% with market leadership in 19 out of 22 circles,” added Reliance Jio in a statement.
