Popular streaming platform Netflix is adding the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to its constantly expanding mobile game library. The trilogy includes three remastered games from the popular GTA franchise: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and will be available starting December 14, 2023.
“Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition adds to a growing catalog of more than 80 mobile games, with must-play titles across all genres adding further value to all Netflix memberships — including through one of the most iconic series in history, without any ads, in-app purchases, or extra fees,” the company said in a blog post.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was released by Rockstar Games on November 11, 2021, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The Definitive Edition features modern controls, enhanced graphics with higher resolution textures, improved lightning and weather, and more.
Apart from the GTA trilogy, Netflix also offers over 80 popular mobile game titles, including Football Manager 2024 Mobile, Tomb Raider Reloaded, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, Dead Cells, Asphalt Xtreme, Raji: An Ancient Epic, Into the Dead 2: Unleashed, and Samurai Shodown.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be available to Netflix subscribers starting December 14, 2023. Users will be able to access the game from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the Netflix Mobile app. Starting today, Netflix subscribers can pre-register to play the game.
