JioFiber has upped the data offerings on its annual packs with the introduction additional data benefit on subscribing to the 12 month subscription plan. The new listings on the Jio website show that customers who subscribe to the annual plan will get extra data as annual plan benefit. Each month the annual plan benefit will be equivalent to the monthly plan benefit i.e if your monthly plan benefit has 100 GB you get another 100 GB as annual plan benefit.
According to the listings on Reliance Jio website, JioFiber is now offering increased offerings on monthly plan benefits incase you subscribe to the annual plan which is optional. For example. if you were to subscribe to the Bronze pack currently you would get 200 GB + 50 GB monthly benefits. However, if you were subscribe to the annual plan Jio is now offering another 100 GB annual plan benefit every month which is equivalent to the monthly plan benefit. In short, you would get 350 GB unlimited high speed data which breaks down into 100 GB plan benefit, 100 GB double data benefit, 50 GB introductory data, and 100 GB annual plan benefit. The introductory extra GBs ofcourse are only for the first 6 months.
Similar is the case with Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium plans wherein data offerings have been upped. Silver plan will now offer 800 GB (600 GB + 200 GB) monthly plan benefits, up from 600 GB (400 GB + 200 GB) for annual plan customers. Gold plan will now offer 1750 GB ( 1500 GB + 250 GB) monthly plan benefits, up from 1250 GB (1000 + 250 GB) for annual plan customers.
Diamond plan will now offer 4000 GB high speed data ( 3750 GB + 250 GB) monthly plan benefits, up from 2750 GB (2500 + 250 GB) for annual plan customers. Platinum plan will now offer 7500 GB high speed data monthly plan benefits, up from 5000 GB for annual plan customers. Titanium plan will now offer 15000 GB high speed data monthly plan benefits, up from 10000 GB for annual plan customers.
OnlyTech can reliably confirm that the listings have gone live in the last 24 hours with the Jio website reflecting old listings as on 6 AM on 26th May. As you can see from the above image provided the listings have been changed. The initial image is from 22th May whereas the bottom one is as on 03:30 AM this morning when the story was filed.
As a double check, you can see the below Titanium Plan 12 month subscription listing wherein Jio lists 120,000 GB benefits i.e 10000 GB x 12 months which is the earlier data offering. The Titanium 12 months subscription will now give you 180,000 GB data offering i.e 15000 GB x 12 months.
The listings seem to have gone live few hours back, with the rest of the listings on the page reflecting old data as of 03:30 AM this morning. Notably, the segregated Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual listings have not been updated yet although Jio has removed the ‘View Details’ information with a ‘javascript:void’ error reflecting on trying to click the ‘View Details’. The same could be updated as the day progresses.
With the lockdown restrictions being relaxed Jio could withdraw the double data benefit soon which would reduce the monthly data benefits down. The pricing and other complimentary benefits with the package remain unchanged as of this moment.
Its optional. Its already there. Either 2 months free or double date or freebie like speaker.
Has it been there since a long time? The listing is new, hence we reported.
