Leading telecommunications service provider Reliance Jio on Saturday brought back its Rs 4,999 long term prepaid recharge plan which was discontinued in December last year. With the addition of this plan now the company has 3 long term plans ranging from Rs 1,299 to Rs 4,999.
The Rs 4,999 plan offers 350 GB of data, free unlimited Jio-Jio calls, free off-net calls up to 12,000 minutes and 100 SMS per day. Similar to other Jio plans it also comes with a complimentary subscription to Jio apps but unlike the existing 1,299 and 2,121 plans, this plan is having 360 days of validity instead of 336 days. On this plan there is no daily FUP, post exhaustion of data, speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps.
Earlier in February, Jio discontinued its Rs 2020 plan and replaced it with Rs 2121 plan which offers 1.5 GB per day data, 12,000 minutes off-net calls and 100 SMS per day for 336 days. Jio also reduced the validity of the Rs 1,299 plan from 365 days to 336.
Airtel and Vodafone are still providing 365 days validity on their annual plans. Airtel’s Rs 1,498 and Vodafone Idea’s Rs 1,499 plans to ship with 24 GB of data and truly unlimited calls while Rs 2,398 plan from Airtel and Rs 2,399 plan from Vodafone Idea gives you 1.5 GB per day data along with truly unlimited calls to any network across the country.
