That's the main reason I switched to chrome android as all ads are blocked there but not on YouTube app

It actually depends on channel owners how many ads they want to show in between playback i guess.

The YouTube app for Android tv is updated. The option to select playback quality is back. It was removed from the previous version.

If you have notifications enabled for a certain YouTube channel, you may have noticed the notifications don't provide much info. In fact, they only display the title of the video and what channel it came from (unless you expand the notification). This appears to finally be changing, as some users are seeing notifications with the video thumbnail.

Now the video thumbnails are showing a short preview on the home page when the selection frame is placed over any thumbnail.

I feel the quantity of ads has increased recently.
