So today I received Redmi5A which I ordered for my friend. I've ordered two phones for my friends till now. But yes he's loyal Mi fan do he will buy again on 6K price.

So FK also increased price.
I think this is to clear the way (in terms of price) of the newest phone (most probably Redmi 5) launching in 3 days!
Edit: 20% price increase is huge! Also this is first of it's kind when a Xiomi product increases price.

I think Redmi 5A was created just to clear unsold stocks of Redmi 4A as nobody was buying bcoz of hybrid slot with 16 GB storage and we need to run Jio along with our primary SIM so expanding storage is out of question. They fixed that mistake with 5A.

So Redmi 5 will replace Redmi 4 not 5A

That might well be the case.
After 5A launch, 4A & 4 (16 GB) were vanished!

4 not vanished as that was different product metal body, better processor, better modem, bigger battery, better camera but definitely 4A. They recall all 4A change mother board design slightly to accommodate 2nd dedicated sim and reassembled everything same as it was with 4A and gave it 5A tag.

Now why should people buy one year old product (4A was launchedany months ago) ? Because they reduced price further by 1K rupee to make it a steal deal

Original Price of Redmi 5A is 5999

4999 was for first 5 Million units sold.

This was announced during the launch of the phone

Hope after Redmi 5's (?) launch, getting Note 5 pro will be much easier. Chances are bleak though!
