Xiaomi teased the launch of a new smartphone expected on March 14. According to the side profile shot that was given in the video, we can expect the budget xiaomi 5 to make an debut in the India. Redmi 5 could be priced starting at Rs. 7,999.

The dual SIM (nano) Redmi 5 runs MIUI 9on top of Android Nougat out-of-the-box. The phone sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 282ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB of inbuilt storage

@Jithin91 Bro, Xiaomi is releasing only one phone on 14th Match. The thread title says "Redmi 5 (may not be Redmi 5) is set to release on 14.3.18" & your thread tile also contained Redmi 5 and the date is also same. So, why two separate thread?
