Xiaomi Mi A3, the company’s third-generation Android One smartphone has officially earned a place in the list of buggiest phones ever. Since its release, the phone has been criticized for its software by users around the world. What’s even more interesting is the company has once again pulled back (third time) the Android 10 update.

God knows what different they have done with this device. Even the Custom ROMs for this device are full of bugs and unstable. No one has been able to fix them yet in XDA Community. Meanwhile every other Xiaomi device (with Snapdragon SOC) works flawlessly with Customs ROMs and have great developer support. Even the super old ones too.
The Mi A2 had no such problems. It also received the stable Android 10 update, and has super stable Custom ROMs as well. Even Mi A1 has stable Android 10 Custom ROM builds.

Irony is they are deleting the complaint threads about this update at their Mi community.

Xiaomi has pushed a new security update for the global variant of the Mi A3 earlier today that does bring in the July 2020 Android security patches. But there’s a major problem: The latest update (V11.0.3.0.QFQMXTC) reportedly breaks the dual-SIM functionality of the phone, introduces a carrier-specific logo in the boot animation out of the blue, and commits a bunch of unexpected changes.
