Xiaomi Mi A3 will be one of the first smartphones to get Android Q

Xiaomi launched the Mi A3 in India on Wednesday. The Mi A3 is the third Android One smartphone from Xiaomi in India after the Mi A1 and the Mi A2. The key highlight of the Mi A3 is its clean software. The Mi A3 runs on Google's Android One program this means there's no MIUI, no third-party apps, and no Ads. The Mi A3 launches with Android Pie but at the launch event, the company confirms that the Mi A3 will be among the first smartphones to get Android Q software update.

The timeline of Android Q rollout for Mi A3 is yet to be revealed by the company. But considering Google Pixel 4 series is coming soon with Android Q we expect the latest Android One phone from Mi to get the latest Android version before the end of this year. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K20 series will get Android Q update very soon. "At present, the Mi MIX 3 5G, Mi 9, and Redmi K20 Pro are in the Android Q Beta program, which is free for developers to use," Xiaomi notes. The Mi A3 gets added to the list

Good News: Mi A3 with model number M1904F3BG has been certified. This model has the base (F3B) of the Chinese Mi CC9 (M1904F3BT).
Bad News: Not just in India, yet. It's in Russia. But still hopeful as the model number is confirmed existence.
Bad News: Mi CC 9 will arrive as the Mi 9 Lite. A3 Pro dropped :(

I'm using Mi a3.
Actually during the launch event it was told that this would be one of the first Xiaomi device to get Android 10.

Mostly by end of December or January will be getting android 10 update.. but don't expect it to be bug free from Xiaomi..

Nokia 6.1+ is way better, barring the battery. Nokia 8.1 is there too at 16k.
Nokia 8.1 was around 20k then and at 16k it is still 3k dear.

To counter me anyhow, u came up with 1 year old device with practically everything inferior apart from display(that too is not bad considering Mi A3' has sAmoled).
I wanted a device with good battery, decent performance, regular updates with good design And Mi A3 checks all the boxes for me,so I'm happy with it.
No Issues
