Setting the record straight on shadow banning

We do not shadow ban. You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.

Twitter has announced it has brought back the chronological timeline.
Since 2016, the platform had highlighted relevant tweets to users on its timeline, though they weren’t necessarily the latest tweets.
When the change is fully implemented, users will be able to easily switch between a “Best Tweets first” and a “Chronological order” timeline.
