Big Matches Set For Monday's WWE RAW

The following has been announced for Monday's 4th of July RAW from Columbus, Ohio:
* A former SmackDown General Manager appears
* Titus O'Neil vs. WWE United States Champion Rusev with the title on the line
* WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a non-title match
* 16-man Elimination Match with Team USA vs. Team International, participants TBA
 
WWE has wrapped their mini-tour of Hawaii and Tokyo, Japan with Shinsuke Nakamura picking up two wins over Kevin Owens and one over Chris Jericho. Nakamura tweeted the following after finishing the shows:

Great to be back in Japan. Honor to fight with great wrestlers @IAmJericho and @FightOwensFight .what a blast...Thank you #WWETokyo #yeaoh!

WWE referee Charles Robinson turns 52 years old today while former WWE Superstar Scotty 2 Hotty turns 46 and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart turns 59.
 
Battle News reported the attendance for the two WWE house shows at Tokyo Sumo Hall this weekend. The event on July 1 was before 8,506 fans. Attendance for the July 2 show was slightly higher: 8,764. Depending on the configuration, this could have been close to a sell-out. The Tokyo Sumo Hall holds around 10,000 attendees when most Japanese promotions run there, although WWE probably blocks off more seats for their entrance stage.
 
For what it's worth, Sheamus reportedly worked as a babyface at last night's WWE live event in Huntington, West Virginia. He lost a Tornado Match for the WWE United States Title to champion Rusev, Cesaro, Kalisto and Sami Zayn.
 
WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund appeared in Darren Young's corner at last night's WWE live event in Huntington, West Virginia, as he defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz by DQ. A correspondent in attendance noted that Backlund's ringside antics for Young didn't go over well.

WWE has announced John Cena, Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the July 24th WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
 
Brock Lesnar's match for the August 21st
WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be revealed this week.

WWE has announced that Lesnar's SummerSlam opponent will be revealed on this Thursday's SmackDown episode.
