Microsoft is rolling out the final build of the Fall Creators Update to Insiders in the Fast ring today, which is packing new bug fixes and changes. This is the final build, also known as the Release To Manufacturing (RTM) build, which means from here on out Microsoft will be servicing build 16299 with cumulative updates and patches. The Windows 10 update KB4046355 for the Fall Creators Update -- listed as FeatureOnDemandMediaPlayer - Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB4046355) removes Windows Media Player from the operating system.
The update removes Windows Media Player from the device (files and context menu entries), but it does not prevent users from installing it again.
It was released on November 10, 2015. End of support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance. This is the time to make sure you have the latest available update installed.
Latest Windows 10 Build is Windows 10 version 1703 So update to latest build now
If you are an Windows Insider who wants to stay on the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update – you will need to go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Insider Program and press the “Stop Insider Preview builds” button.
A menu will pop up and you will need to choose “Stop Insider builds completely”. This will keep you on the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (Build 16299.15).
