Which browser you are talking about, Chrome or Dolphin? Dolphin had many 1st party (official) extensions.

Dolphin browser. I meant lots. I accidentally put millions in that sentence.

PS Chrome sucks as well. It forces news feed which I really hate.
 
Edge is got to be the best one as of now. It brings the best of Microsoft and Google in one browser.

Articles for you of chrome can be hidden in a single tap or it can be disabled completely through this flag - chrome://flags/#enable-ntp-remote-suggestions
