Bangalore, Aug 5: Vodafone Essar Ltd (Vodafone), a leading cellular service provider, today launched its 3G services here.
Commenting on the launch, Vodafone Karnataka CEO B P Singh said 3G Services would change the way Vodafone customers communicate and experience the advantage of adding power of mobility to the internet. There are numerous avenues for the consumer to have faster access to entertainment, better fulfillment of their information needs and a smarter way to communicate, while on the go.
He said ''we expect a strong uptake and high demand for these 3G Services and we welcome all our customers to faster, smarter, better world of 3G'' Vodafone would launch 3G services in other towns and cities in Karnataka in a phased manner over the coming months, the company said.
To mark the launch, the company has also offered concessional tariff to both pre and post paid customers.
