Vodafone launches 4G services in Yamunagar, Haryana

Vodafone on Tuesday launched its 4G services in Yamunagar, marking the launch of its 4G services in Haryana . The company said 4G services will be available in the rest of major towns of Haryana by March 2017.

The company issued a statement explaining that 4G services will enable Vodafone 4G customers to access internet through their mobile on high speeds across a range of smart devices including Mi-Fi & dongles.

Mohit Narru Business Head for Vodafone Haryana said, “Haryana is a strong leadership market for Vodafone India and as the leading telecom service provider, our over 5.8 million customers have a lot to look forward to”.

The company is allowing its customers a free upgrade to 4G along with free 2GB data. The 4G services will be priced equally with 3G tariffs and it announced an array of data packs starting from Rs12 for 45MB.

The company said, its launch in Haryana follows the successful rollout of services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam & North East, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu circles. Also once it carried out its launches planned in Goa, Punjab and Chennai, before the end of the current fiscal year, Vodafone will will provide 4G across 2,400. “These 17 circles where Vodafone will offer 4G service, contribute over 90 percent of Vodafone India’s data revenues”.
