Mocktale: Mallya promises to return to India the day RCB bowling clicks
After expressing willingness to return to India if he is assured of safety and freedom, fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya has now set a new condition for his return.
The owner of IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore team has promised to not only return but repay all his debts the day his team's bowling clicks. It should be noted that last time RCB bowled well, Mughals were still ruling India.
"I am not pressurizing them by setting any deadline. They can take their time. I can wait till next 10 years for the day to see them bowl well," Mallya said in a press release from London.
However the consortium of banks led by SBI (to whom Mallya owes money) claimed it was just another gimmick by Mallya who is never going to return.
"With this condition we can safely assume that Mallya has no intentions of coming back. I mean there are higher chances of Uday Chopra winning an Oscar or Inzamam-ul-Haq beating Usain Bolt in 100 metre race than RCB bowling clicking one day," said SBI chairman.
"Today he is saying that he would return when RCB bowls well, tomorrow he will say that he will return when Kejriwal doesn't blame Modi for a day. Such ridiculous conditions can't be entertained," he added.
However RCB bowlers claim that such condition by their team owner has added more responsibility on them.
"Hum fans ke munh se gaaliyan toh kah sakte hain but us aadmi kI bezzati hote hue nahi dekh sakte jiska humne namak khaya hai," RCB's frontline opposition player Stuart Binny said, as he dialed up Ishant Sharma's number to take some poor bowling tips.
"We promise to continue to perform like this and will make sure that from now on we bowl to the worst of our abilities. We will further ensure that no bowler or ours takes performance enhancing drugs," Binny added, assuring Mallya that he would never have to return.
RCB captain Virat Kohli however asked Mallya to reconsider his condition.
"Unhe aane ki kya zaroorat hai. Jaisi meri team ki bolwing hai main toh khud jaldi London shift hone ki soch raha hun," Kohli told Mocktale.
