UC Browser, one of the popular browser apps, has been removed from Google PlayStore.
UC Browser Mini app is still available on the PlayStore.
It is not clear what's the reason for removal. Google and UC Browser have not disclosed any such notices. The Government of India recently observed that UC Browser was transmitting information to Chinese servers illegally. The Chinese Internet giant Aliibaba is the owner of UC Browser.
