Hi

Here is a step by step self explanatory Tutorial for installing Windows XP on your computer. You can follow almost the same steps to install Vista and Win7 also except very few changes and a improved GUI. Most of the images are self explanatory, but still if you have any doubt on any step pls do ask. Here we go....

Thanks.

Possible ways to find product key:

1. If its pre-installed (OEM) on your computer, check the sticker possibly at the bottom (for laptops) or at the top/side of CPU (for desktops) which will have the product key.

2. If you had purchased an license separately, it will be on the CD pack of the Windows.

3. In case you missed the pack but have the CD, then insert the CD to ur computer and search for a file named unattend.txt, scroll to the last line, you will have the product key.

4. If you are unable to find the product key using above step, you can use keyfinder softwares which will scan the registry on your computer and give the info. If you want a keyfinder software visit http://www.magicaljellybean.com or serach in google, there are lot of freewares.

NOTE: For any of the above to work, you need to have a licensed/OEM version of Windows :lol:lol:lol
