In my point of view TikTok is the the latest excuse made by parents instead of taking care of ward they are blaming company. Before TikTok there was PokemonGo, COC, LUDO, Pubg, etc. They should look towards their kids wasting money in tuition fee won't help untill unless you don't look towards him/her.

The short video-making platform TikTok on Monday launched a 'Device Management' feature that would enable users in India to have complete control of their account.
Users will be able to end sessions or remove their accounts from other devices from within the TikTok app to better manage the safety of their account. According to the company, the feature would help avoid the misuse of user accounts.

TikTok Refutes Tharoor's Claim on Sharing Data With China

TikTok in a statement said: "These claims are simply untrue. The privacy and security of our users is a top priority for TikTok, and we abide by local laws and regulations in the markets where we operate."

According to TikTok, it "does not operate in the People's Republic of China and their government has no access to TikTok users' data, nor does it have any existing partnership with China Telecom."

"Our Indian users' data is stored in the US and Singapore at industry-leading third-party data centres," it added.
