First DVD market was killed when blurays are popular.
Later they buried BD market and now HD content also.
All in Alll RIP TFI.
There were 10's of DVD manufacturers for Telugu Movies between 2000-2010 for producing DVDs. KAD DVD, iDream DVD, SDFC, EVP, Crown, Supreme, Shalimar, Tolly2Holly, RVR, Santosh, Sri Balaji, Volga, Bhavani, Universal, Movie Time Video etc., It did not took much time for all of them to realize the losses they would incur by running this business. Later, only few companies were able to survive for long time and they even came up with Blurays. Unfortunately, home video companies completely vanished by 2015. We can't buy most of the old DVDs and Blurays now.
Same will happen to streaming also after few years - will not vanish but will be stabilized with 1 or 2 major providers. All other small providers will have to either merge or close their service as maintaining Data centers and handling bandwidth charges may not be simple. Personally, I feel amazon prime video and Netflix will sustain in the long in India considering prime has their own Data centers and Netflix being popular in multiple countries for their large quality content.
