Tata Docomo launches free incoming calls while roaming in Mumbai

Tata Docomo has announced a new tariff voucher priced at Rs 775 for all its pre-pay GSM AND CDMA customers in Mumbai. This new special tariff voucher will allow both GSM and CDMA customers in Mumbai to receive free incoming calls while they are roaming on Tata Docomo’s national network. The outgoing call rate while roaming on Tata Docomo’s national network has been reduced to 80p/min for local calls and Rs 1.15/min for STD calls. This special tariff comes with a validity period of 6 months.

What are these companies doing? National MNP is coming soon and they are charging for roaming? They should offer discounted call rates on MNP porting for 6 months instead.
