"Mahida had joined Swiggy, the online food delivery firm, as a delivery boy seven months ago. He had delivered cans of beer to customers on a few occasions. He was on his way to deliver beer cans to a customer when he was arrested," said ACP (B division), B A Chaudhary.

Mahida has been booked under various sections of the Gujarat Prohibition Act.

Case Against Swiggy User Who Refused Food Delivered by Muslim Man

A case has been registered against Ajay Kumar, a customer in Hyderabad’s old city area who had refused to accept an order placed on food-delivery app, Swiggy, because it was delivered by a Muslim man, ANI reported. Mudassir Omar, the delivery executive concerned, had filed a complaint against Kumar over the issue. An investigation is now underway.

This is both good thing and a bad thing. Now they can sue us for refusing orders.

Still wondering what he got after Dunzo'ing. Dunzo charges will be a lot more than what he earns after each delivery on Swiggy...
Feels like satire to me, unless the reason was genuine..
 
[1] I guess losing that 5 star review may cost him badly in total monthly incentive.
[2] He got a call from his love say for surprise visit nearby
