If you can increase budget a bit, then Redmi Note 11. 11500.

Note 11 is bad. RAM management is very bad. Even twitter is lagging in that phone.

I don't see any bad in RN11. In fact, it's the perfect phone at 11500 for daily driver without gaming. RAM management is top notch as well. Battery life performance is on point. Camera(post processing) is upgraded a lot compared to Redmi Note 10. 90Hz refresh rate too. In future you will get custom rom support too. Overall pretty good phone which nobody is offering at this price anymore.

I don't see any bad in RN11.

No one is telling here that it's bad phone. But, for parents, it's difficult to switch to different customized os. So, stock android is much preferable.

Requirement is very basic because they will use for calling and whatsapp only.
Stock android or near to stock android is much preferable as they are used to it.

Are you OK with LCD display? Moto G40 is quiet good phone. See if it comes at 11499 in sale. If it comes, it's good deal.

I bought Samsung M32 at 11,800₹. Its a fantastic phone at this price.
I dont want to buy any Chinese phone so decided to buy Samsung phone.
Hope my parents will like it
