Because in 2018 India have all away Tour in South Africa, England and Australia, and NZ in 2019 where their chances are very less for winning. So BCCI wants to make India Strong in the ICC rankings with home series....

Totally pointless series. Indian players are the only players who play for 12 months in an year. Ideally they should have been rested and despatched early to prepare in South Africa. I don't see even people interested in this series.
