Sony to show La Liga from 2015/16 season

We are lucky that we will be able to see these matches. With Star washing its hands off international football and focussing only on domestic stuff, we are lucky that we will be able to see La Liga for next five years and Serie A for next three years on Sony.

Disaster for people like me who like other countries than India and bought Indian DTH only to watch Messi playing in High Definition. For SD i dont even need any DTH, my cable line is very good.

Seriously MSM group is going wild by acquiring every major Football events but problem is not the rights acquirement but channels which would telecast every important LA liga and Seria A matches in HD. Has peoples who are used to watch football matches in HD will never like to watch messi or ronaldo in crap SD version has most likely they will show many matches on Sony Kix which is a SD channel. They should have launched sony Kix in HD and then down scaled it for SD viewers :wall

To all those who are complaining about watching matches in HD, they should be happy that they will get to watch the matches in the first place. Half the time last season Star did not show matches live neither on sd or HD channel as they were busy showing cricket, isl, pkl, hill on 4 channels at the same time.
