I am saying this just because at the announcement of merger they used Sony in one line on big screen... Though it's not a big deal but it's a deal

Serie A, La Liga A, FA Cup and most importantly FIFA World Cup & Euro 2016. Sony has acquired all the major football rights except BPL. Going by the trends of STAR, they may even give up Premier League next season. Unless you are a cricket fan, all the Star Channels are useless now except SS4 to some extent.

well I feel the same way about Sony channel s too.. LA liga is always going to be a league where there will be 10 matches that are worth watching...bundesliga is way better than Seria a BC of style of play And fans..
FIFA WC was a disaster on Sony ...
I don't think ESPN has the presence At this moment in football coverage in europe to bring a change...most of the games are being controlled by bein and sky at this moment
