As per the recent news, they are working on releasing nougat for S6 & A-Series devices. Lets see by when it comes.

Yeah, that's true. But i was surprised when the first gen A-series devices were selected for nougat. Samsung doing job by providing updates to 2 yrs old model.

First Gen A series devices didn't received any major OS update may be that's why. I have received Marshmallow on Samsung S4 (sold now) which came with ICS back in 2013. :lol

Now that much updates is a dream.
