It is actually a nougat ported feature, so nougat is not far away for your Mi device. I had this feature when i was on nougat ROM on my S7..

It selects the app from which you have recharged your mobile number the last time.

No bro in MIUI it is not like that. I rarely use Mobikwik but still redirecting to that that only means Mobikwik has some agreement with Xiaomi,
