Seniorworld.com unveiled easyfone, a phone specifically designed for senior citizens at Rs 3,375. It features a large screen and big font, large dialling keys and cradle charger.

Easyfone comes with Photo-dial, which allows users to dial contacts through a single key press. It also has a SOS button at the back. Pressing the SOS button sets off a chain of 4 automated actions including calls and SMS to 5 emergency contacts with critical details including location, battery strength and contact details of the users doctors.

Rahul Gupta, co-founder and CEO, seniorworld.com said “Seniors have unique needs and that is true in the category of mobile phones as well. The needs of the elderly have largely been ignored and easyfone fills this gap with a focus on ease, simplicity and safety.”

Other features include Whitelist option, which limits incoming calls only from the white listed numbers. The company will provide home pick-up and delivery service for repairs.
