Some are expecting Jiostar is merged company's brand name like DisneyStar, not app name, but they will launch merged content on jiostar.com soon. so, their app name might also change soon with Jio.

Some articles on the internet are referring jiostar.com domain for OTT and startv.com domain for Broadcasting wing.

startv.com site is redirecting to disneystar.com as of now. It may be their old or previously existing domain.

I think 'Disney+ Hotstar' name will continue for few more months after merger announcement. Popular contents from Jio cinema will shift to Hotstar these period. Name change may be discussed in board eventually after the new company come in action.
