I asked one employee, he said no mail has come regarding these portals ant they are not aware of it .
Also why would it be registered under video/entertainment if it was company portal ?

Lets wait till tomorrow
I do not have any source within the company. My post is purely based on what I could feel from these links.

Regarding your experience of website being blocked on your company laptop under category Video/Entertainment, I do not believe there exists a registry to claim that the domain will be used for a specific category. Usually the company's network firewalls relies on some domain categorizers and this doesn't mean that its always right. Usually in such cases, there will be an option to report for re-evaluation of category. These categorizers would rely on details provided during registration, some web content analysis and some make use of AI (inlcuding the one I have used) to categorize the unknown domains based on publicly avaiable data and off late we all know how many articles have been created that jiostar is a streaming platform. So it all could be due to that.

Again, to reiterate this is purely based on my analysis and nothing else.

The UI's that we have seen in the UAT's of jiostar.com hint that jiostar.com would be the corporate page of Star India Private Limited (after merger), content from disneystar.com and Viacom18.com would come to jiostar.com, while Jiocinema and Disney+Hotstar would still be seperate (at the most, Disney+Hotstar would rename to Hotstar) for the meantime.

Could you make it more elaborate do we need to pay separately for both apps or in one subscription we will able access both apps as well as website.

JioCinema will become AVoD
Hotstar will stay as subscription only platform.

They are working more on this, and the SSL certificate used for jiostar.com is of prokabaddi.com, and the official partner is Disney Star.

Is this possible that jiostar can transfer all TV channels and free movie and show under jiocinema and all premium content from hbo paramount and peacock and Disney and premium movie and websow to hotsar and definitely transferring sports in hotsar any thoughts about this idea

definitely transferring sports in hotsar any thoughts about this idea
I guess the already bought content would continue to be stream on JioCinema and from now on new bid of the fresh acquire content would be streamed on hotstar. Till then we'll see no such changes in platform they'll coexist.
