  • Jio will now charge 6 paise per minute for all outgoing calls to other networks.
  • The 6 paise per minute charge will be applicable while ringing the other person.
  • Jio has four IUC top-up plans on offer with extra data benefits.
not for all outgoing calls...
Nevertheless, Jio stands firm on its commitment to offer the highest value to its customers, and there is no 6 paise per minute charge on:
(a) all Jio to Jio calls;
(b) all incoming calls;
(c) Jio to landline calls; and
(d) calls made using WhatsApp or FaceTime and similar platforms.

Unlimited calls aren't meant for corporate uses.
AFAIK unlimited calls are barred only for tele callers/call centres/advertising agents. Consider daily scenario where you would need to call manager/leads/ client/ bridge calls. This is a huge setback for all as we are unaware if the outgoing number is a Jio or not

What about Postpaid customers? How does IUC pack work?

I prefer DDF than Customercare

As per their t&C
Applicable only to recharges made on or after 10th October
Are they forcing us to recharge as much as today !
The Jio PR team is telling us that this is valid for every user despite of their current plans. They also said that this money will not affect ARPU as it will directly go to respective operator and they were forced to charge us for this because 0 IUC is delayed by TRAI.
