... dont u think that avoid will always want those 2G subscribers to remain on 2G only ....If they partner with any mobile company to launch 4G feature phone just like jio phone... then they can also migreat 2G subscribers to 4G network....
just bcz They could not upgrade their infrastructure till now ..then why Should jio pay IUC for their fault... Before JIO all were making Good money they have gained huge profits n money from last 15 years frm Common man.. So its not like AVOID was in ANY loss before JIO...but now just bcz They are loosing their old Subscribers to JIO in Big numbers .They started making hue And cry N doing "HUNGAMA" ..N behaving as If they are vry innocent .. who have never ever cared for their customers before jio..
Airtel is the most Unethical telecom company in india. I used airtel from 2010-2016. In these 6 years they deducted thousands of rupees by automatic activation of VAS. Even Vodafone Idea is way less unethical than Airtel.

It's weird because I suffered from mass vas deduction on Vodafone not Airtel. They activate vas without consent. Then I have to go through whole customer service nightmare to get refunded.

You dial *123*any number# in Vodafone. Boom, a pack will get activated. Try twice, the same pack will be activated again but overwriting the previous benefit. The negative balance in vodafone went up to 500 once for me.

Headache is getting refunded.

I threw a Vodafone sim several years back because of this and never wanted to use Vodafone until recently.
Vodafone is more unethical than Airtel. At first they wrongfully charge for VAS. Then they block your calls to customer service after 3 attempts.
