I confirmed with the Jio Support, it's 1/10th and not 1/8th.

But, Whatever it is, it is bad. Not Cool!

For me, I might disconnect if they don't change in next 30 days or so.

my upload speed is 3.8mbps lmao tested through speedofdotme i dont trust speedtest by ookla
@gomfi, you can keep it unrecharged as a secondary connection and use it by recharging weekly plan as backup when primary ISP has issues. Useful feature of prepaid broadband services. I plan to do that once Jio Fiber comes to area.

thats the exact plan for now... use it as secondary by recharging with 199plan

My Speed Test Results

Jio Plan Speed: 100 Mbps
Wifi Connection: 5Ghz Jio Fiber
Device Used: Huawei P30 Pro Mobile
Method: Ookla Speed Test App
Test Location: Salem, Tamil Nadu

I tested first with my usual -- the Hyderabad ACT server. Then I tested with the Chennai Airtel Broadband server and then finally, a few Singapore servers.

The Upload speeds were more or less the same in all of them (9 to 10 Mbps).

The Download speeds were more or less the same too (above 92 Mbps), except the Singapore servers. The average Download speed of the Singapore servers was around 40 Mbps, except one Singapore server, which consistently gave above 92 Mbps like the Hyderabad and Chennai servers.

I tested each server twice.

Jio -- Rocket Upload Speeds :D
yes jio has awesome upload speeds lol. anyways i wouldnt trust speedtestdotnet. its easy to peer with them and show good results. try fastdot or speedofdotme which are non peered and shows you actual results

//try fastdot or speedofdotme which are non peered //

Fast dot com pings the ISP's server (It's a service provided by Netflix for lagless streaming). So it'll show maximum speed.

true, never speed test broadband connection with fast.com & speedtest.net indian server. Use dslreports, testmy.net, speedtest.net SG,USA,EU servers, M-Lab speed test, cloudharmony.com different cloud provider speed test.
