Pings should be pretty low for fiber. Only Jio has 20ms or more pings from whatever I have seen. It's not just limited to one area. It's across city. Airtel and Tata have lower pings.

Airtel replaced my ONT and have given me Richerlink ONT(earlier was a Nokia), power is also increased to -25.4 dBm and I think the random disconnection issue is finally fixed but need to keep observing for few more days.

My pings have gone bad since I took the static ip(dropped now), seems they changed my gateway to Delhi, earlier used to get 4/5 ms and now getting around 12-18 ms, customer care guys not understanding what gateway is

Single digit pings are good, any thing above that is can't be considered as good but then it's not going to impact normal browsing or streaming. You may face challenge if you are into online gaming.
