Hey friends

Can any one please confirm what should be the port speed in 4 Mbps plan?

I am seeing speed as around 3200, which I believe is less. I called the broadband guy here in BSNL and he says it has nothing to do with speed, I am sure he don't know anything about it.

My main query is how to increase the port speed? I mean is that due to the line or it needs to be done from backend of bsnl.

Thanks

Yes. You are right @Real AB . Port speed is maximum limit for the port of your connection. You should get more than 4 Mbps to take full juice out of your plan.

I had same issue when i was on BSNL and after i complained they increased it and i see up in speed. But depends on the broadband guy in the office. If he do not want then nothing much you can do.

didn't get u bro..
are u referring to downstream and upstream of DSL Connection

Here's the screen shot. I have visited the office and told them in clear manner that you need to increase the port speed, let's see if they do that.
