Isn't the update available only for op3 yet?

I think only unofficial cm builds are available .. and they dont support dash charge...
Also cyanogen broke up with one plus which is why oneplus came up with OOS

i misread your post.. ya oxygen os update is exclusive for op3...
Op1 runs on cyanogen

If you have earlier build installed than do not upgrade to latest version, its disaster. Wait for upcoming update, then update to that.

I purchased the mobile yesterday and it came with 3.2.4 version. Should I upgrade to this 3.5 build?

its not a normal update as far as i know... its a community release.. like they released it in their forum.. for beta testing...

Yes. Its good. You should upgrade. Just do with some care and only if you know what you are doing.

If I upgrade to this new firmware, will I get OTA updates for future builds until they release it to public? Or will I always have to flash new builds manually?

Yes bro. All test builds will be sent via normal OTA process. But to go back to stable version you have to reflash stock ROM.

^^ Thanks bro. I think I should try this new one. ;)

Any steps which you would like to share for easy flashing??

Flashing company's own ROM is very easy. Just download ROM package put it in root directory of internal memory, then go to recovery select the package  :tup
BTW Bapun bro Boot loader of this phone locked or unlocked ? :huh

Locked bro. And we can adb sideload the stock ROM with locked boot loader itself.

@Dth fan, follow instructions here: http://www.howtogeek.com/255311/how-to-manually-upgrade-your-nexus-device-with-adb-sideload/

Download link for ROM is in first page.

Android studio: https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html

After installing android studio get the adb files: http://adbdriver.com/downloads/

Hope it helps.
